What changed

  • Head Crab has a jellyfish model, a new head-clamp appearance, leap animation, sounds, vignette and different removal loot.
  • An unnamed treasure-disguised enemy drags a player until a friend frees them; another unnamed threat circles overhead.
  • Locations alternate through Mansion, Ship and Castle; Ship first appears at level 2 and Castle at level 4. The first four chapters contain one level each; later chapters contain two.
  • Enemy sets and boss selection are level-specific. Snake HP changed from 500 to 150; Man in Shadows now teleports.
  • Boomerang, protective Cover and Teleport Crystal were introduced. Water Pistol was removed from the store.
  • Store unlocks were reordered, expensive loot unlocks gradually and payout targets were smoothed. 20 Steam achievements were added.
  • Large items became heavier, violin lighter, and item values/sizes were adjusted. Cart upgrades have their own store category; tools/weapons show use counters.
  • On Ship, the cart is absent from day two onward and Cracken moved closer. Mansion stair collision and lighting were fixed.
  • The developer reports 3–4 times faster loading; coin-spawn frame drops and low-setting light flicker were fixed.

What to revisit in your next run

Recheck chapter selection, available equipment and the level preview. Old enemy assignments, hauling assumptions and store order may no longer describe your run.
