Bigger, colder, and built around heavy loot

The developer’s description calls Castle bigger and colder and says it is packed with heavy loot. That makes transport and return-line planning central to the location.

The Aug 26 reduction makes large objects about 26% lighter, but heavy interaction can still expose a solo player or separate a crew.

Elevators and funiculars

The launch post explicitly says elevators and funiculars were added to carry players around Castle’s larger spaces. An Aug 20 patch fixed a cart/funicular problem, supporting the transport connection.

The notes do not publish schedules, exact stops, or a route diagram. Treat moving machinery and loaded carts carefully in the current scene.

Castle is not automatically identical to Mansion

Fresh Fixes says Mansion boss balance was reworked. The checked wording does not explicitly equate the entire Mansion entity with Castle, so this page does not transfer boss mechanics or a Mansion floor plan into Castle guidance.

Only the separately verified Castle transport and setting facts are stated affirmatively.
