Current named records
The database and Monster Finder share these records. An unknown map assignment is not a confirmed absence.
| Monster | Evidence-backed identification |
|---|---|
| Head Crab | The rebuilt Head Crab is a jellyfish that leaps onto a player’s head. Its former spider-crab appearance is historical. |
| Man in Shadows | A current enemy whose teleportation and floor transitions changed repeatedly in September. |
| Kraken | The Ship threat called Cracken in September announcements; this wiki keeps Kraken as the canonical spelling and indexes both names. |
| Ear | A blind launch-build monster that hunts by sound. |
| Anchorer | Anchorer (called Anchor in September notes) hooks, reels in and throws players. September fixes cover its pull animation, chase and release during host migration. |
| Snake | A launch-build monster that restrains rather than striking directly. |
| Crab | October 9: Crab holds are one second shorter, it tires sooner, cannot repeatedly grab without interruption, and appears less often. Absolute duration and spawn rates are unpublished. |
| Parrot | A launch-build alarm creature. |
| Sleeper | A sleeping launch-build monster that becomes persistent when disturbed. |
| Mimic | A launch-build impostor designed to resemble a teammate. |
| Rat | Rats and their king are explicitly named in the official launch announcement. |
| Siren | A current Early Access threat with an audible pull cue and restored knockback. |
Two new threats remain unnamed
September 10 describes a treasure-disguised enemy that drags players until a friend frees them and another threat that circles overhead. The post does not supply their names. They are not silently assigned to Anchorer, Mimic or Parrot.
Demo references are a separate ledger
Howler, Misha, Screamer, Monkey Screamer, Pirate, Shark and Pirate Head occur in older evidence. Their old behavior is not promoted to the current roster. Steam’s Shark achievement is a current named objective but does not verify a full modern behavior or spawn record.
Level-specific bosses
The September progression update makes enemy sets and boss selection depend on the level. No complete boss-to-level chart is published in the checked announcements.
