2026-09-25 · Mimics Finally Keep Their Cauldrons On, and Co-op Stays in Sync
Solo quota, shop balances and co-op synchronization changed, alongside Mimic, Ear, Anchor and Castle elevator fixes.
- Solo: no quota threshold in the first four levels of Chapter 1.
- Shops 2–5 start at higher prices, with further increases in shops 4–5. Earned gold is no longer capped on area transitions.
- Ear does not aggro while walking to a new spot and abandons unreachable destinations.
- Anchor pathfinding now follows its route more reliably.
- Mimic cauldron attack motion, dropping and headwear placement were corrected; attaching a cauldron no longer teleports it.
- Missing shops after transitions and inconsistent death/revive states between players were fixed.
- Castle 2 descending lifts no longer push crouching players below the floor. Castle vertical-lift floating and hand shaking were corrected.
- Violin rotation during camera movement was fixed.
- The invisible wall by Cracken no longer obstructs detached body parts.
- Quota marker visibility, elevator-call prompts and chapter-page navigation were corrected; tavern music follows the Music slider.
2026-09-18 · A Fresh Lobby, 70 More Places to Find Loot
Lobby previews and clearer host/code feedback arrived with 70 additional loot spawn points across 15 levels, lift corrections and recovery fixes.
- Lobby section cards have previews, the status says “Waiting for host”, and copy confirmation appears on the code button.
- 70 new loot spawn points span 15 levels. Ship floor spawns and oversized Mansion chest items were corrected.
- Every level has elevator call levers; brake levers are removed. Players and cart cargo now ride lifts correctly.
- Teleport Crystal crouched right-click and Ship throwing obstruction were fixed; standing on it no longer enables flight.
- Booty attachment and teammate revival failures were fixed. Anchor and Crab release players during host migration.
- Man in Shadows correctly teleports between floors; burrow rats return after a player dies.
- Tutorial chest jumpscare is disabled; the cauldron marker is absent from level 3. Store card selection was fixed.
2026-09-14 · A Working Tutorial, More Loot and a Store That Behaves
The tutorial loading blocker was fixed, quota progression corrected and store unlocks/prices rebuilt around the revised level sequence.
- Quota now rises consistently instead of sometimes dropping after the location reorder.
- Unlocked store cards no longer disappear between levels and erratic prices were corrected.
- Levels 3, 4 and 8 received more valid loot spawn positions; elevator winches require 2.5 times fewer turns.
- The tutorial starts correctly. A yellow cauldron marker appears on the first two levels and disappears when picked up.
- Thick Booty stamina is a fixed amount rather than a percentage; the announcement does not give that amount.
2026-09-10 · The Statues Are Awake, and the Head Crab Has Changed Shape
Head Crab became a jellyfish; two unnamed threats, new equipment, 20 achievements and a rebuilt location/chapter order reshaped the run.
- Head Crab has a jellyfish model, a new head-clamp appearance, leap animation, sounds, vignette and different removal loot.
- An unnamed treasure-disguised enemy drags a player until a friend frees them; another unnamed threat circles overhead.
- Locations alternate through Mansion, Ship and Castle; Ship first appears at level 2 and Castle at level 4. The first four chapters contain one level each; later chapters contain two.
- Enemy sets and boss selection are level-specific. Snake HP changed from 500 to 150; Man in Shadows now teleports.
- Boomerang, protective Cover and Teleport Crystal were introduced. Water Pistol was removed from the store.
- Store unlocks were reordered, expensive loot unlocks gradually and payout targets were smoothed. 20 Steam achievements were added.
- Large items became heavier, violin lighter, and item values/sizes were adjusted. Cart upgrades have their own store category; tools/weapons show use counters.
- On Ship, the cart is absent from day two onward and Cracken moved closer. Mansion stair collision and lighting were fixed.
- The developer reports 3–4 times faster loading; coin-spawn frame drops and low-setting light flicker were fixed.
2026-09-09 · Steam Deck Verified
The developer announced Verified status with working mapped controls and readable text.
- Deck keyboard/navigation fixes preceded verification. The announcement promises no numeric FPS or battery target.
2026-09-03 · THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING
A small startup-loading improvement, despite the dramatic announcement title.
- Application startup from Steam is faster.
2026-09-01 · Cleaner Carrying, Fresh Loot and a Pile of Fixes
Multi-grab now follows the heaviest item; doors, chest collisions and location loot pools were revised.
- Holding a cart, cauldron, door, booty or player hand blocks extra grabs. Strong Arms no longer affects doors or lids.
- Ship/Castle loot pools changed, Mansion chair pickup and Ship doors/chests were fixed.
- Anchor pull and Sleeper looking animations were updated; Man in Shadows can land only one hit at a time.
2026-08-28 · Healing With Fish Just Got Quicker
Right-click fish healing became faster, while loading-screen reconnect, Deck input and GPU occlusion fixes shipped.
- Use right click to heal with fish faster. Piano multi-grab and composite-item damage were fixed.
- Reconnecting after leaving during a loading screen was fixed.
- GPU occlusion frame drops, network behavior and Deck keyboard/navigation were improved.
- Anchor melee, furniture interactions, safe zones and chase behavior received fixes.
Historical event: full access ended September 9
The September 1 extension kept Ship and Castle open through September 9. That dated event is over; it is not current permanent access or unlock policy.
