What Monkey Porter does

The launch announcement describes a Monkey Assistant that follows with its own cart, picks up small loot, and runs it back to the boat. Later patch wording uses Monkey Porter and defines its lifecycle.

The evidence supports delivery assistance, not a claim that it handles every item size, path, or hazard.

One level, spent on delivery

Current patch notes say Porter lasts for one level and is spent on delivery, not death. They also say it no longer respawns every level.

Those distinctions matter when reading older advice: a Porter disappearing after a completed delivery is not the same event as dying, and launch behavior should not be assumed after the fix.
