October update: what to check now
Check your current selector after the October 9 chapter reset. Older Ship and Castle milestones describe the September sequence; do not turn those notes into a complete new chapter or unlock chart.
October 9 reset chapter progress for everyone as meta-progression reached the main branch. Personal quota coins and permanent upgrades now carry across runs and crews; chapter position, unlocked cards and a reconnect are different kinds of progress.
What the order actually establishes
The September 10 update moved Ship and Castle earlier and put chapter selection on one page. Its description of one-level early chapters and two-level later chapters is dated evidence. September 25 refers differently to Chapter 1; use the actual selector instead of guessing how those labels map.
How to use an incomplete map table
Treat the current in-game preview as the deciding information for a particular selection. Record the location and threats you observe instead of extrapolating a full repeating sequence from two unlock points. Fifteen levels is supported by the September 18 spawn-point announcement, but that announcement does not enumerate their names.
Do not confuse Ship day 2 with global level 2
The September 10 Ship cart change refers to the second day of that location onward. It does not say every global level from level 2 lacks a cart. Check transport availability when you arrive before committing to large or fragile cargo.
Three labels that should not be merged
The distinctions below separate the official change from the observation you can make in your own run. Practical next steps are guidance, not additional hidden mechanics.
| Situation | Evidence or example | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Global level | A stage in the revised sequence. | Ship at level 2 and Castle at level 4 are documented milestones. |
| Chapter | The selection and completion grouping. | September 10 described one level in each opening chapter and two later. September 25 uses different Chapter 1 wording; check the current selector. |
| Location day | Day context inside a location. | Ship’s cart restriction starts at its second day, not every global level after 2. |
| Enemy set | Now varies by level. | Use the level preview; an unpublished assignment remains unknown. |
