October update: what to check now
Distinguish reviving a teammate from restarting after a team wipe. October 9 lets everyone present vote on a day restart and returns half the delivered quota as coins for shopping; the announcement does not specify a voting threshold or individual refund formula.
October 9 reset chapter progress for everyone as meta-progression reached the main branch. Personal quota coins and permanent upgrades now carry across runs and crews; chapter position, unlocked cards and a reconnect are different kinds of progress.
September 25: earlier corrections
Missing shops after transitions and inconsistent death/revive states between players were fixed.
September changes that affect this guide
2026-09-25: Solo quota, shop balances and co-op synchronization changed, alongside Mimic, Ear, Anchor and Castle elevator fixes.
2026-09-18: Lobby previews and clearer host/code feedback arrived with 70 additional loot spawn points across 15 levels, lift corrections and recovery fixes.
Current official floor timers
The dated August 26 patch gives two exact values: solo players remain on the floor for 25 seconds and co-op players for 15 seconds. The wording describes floor time; it does not explain every follow-on state.
Use the timer difference for urgency, not as a complete revive specification.
| Mode | Official Aug 26 floor time |
|---|---|
| Solo | 25 seconds |
| Co-op | 15 seconds |
Moving downed friends is a player-reported pain point
A current Steam Community discussion reports that stamina pressure makes picking up or moving downed friends difficult. This shows a real question players have but does not prove a global bug or one exact stamina formula.
Record crew size, build, object load, scene, and what action caused the stamina collapse before escalating.
Prepare the recovery lane
Before touching a downed player, stop optional hauling, clear a short route, and keep other crew members from occupying the same narrow lane. One rescuer and one lookout is easier to coordinate than everyone grabbing at once.
These are conservative team habits derived from the time pressure, not hidden revive bonuses.
Solo recovery context
Solo receives ten more seconds of floor time than co-op in the current patch. Separate solo balance also applies to quota, shop context, item counts, and enemy spawns.
The longer timer does not guarantee recovery from every position or threat. Protect space before a risky haul and use behavior cues to avoid a second hit.
Co-op recovery context
Co-op floor time is 15 seconds, so a crew should call the location and threat before committing. Open-deck voice received a fix on Aug 26, while local audio and session problems can still affect communication.
If a player disconnects rather than falls, use the reconnect path; do not treat the two states as interchangeable.
Unverified details stay labeled
September 18 explicitly confirms fixes to booty attachment and teammate revival. Exact stamina cost, pickup animation timing, carry speed, invulnerability and recovery health remain unpublished.
This page will only promote one of those details when a current official note or direct verified build evidence supports it.
Report a repeatable recovery failure
Capture mode, crew size, map, build, downed location, nearby threat, whether the player was carrying anything, stamina state, and exact failed action. A short reproducible description is more useful than a broad balance claim.
Use the Co-op Troubleshooter for voice, version, lobby, disconnect, and reconnect branches around the same run.
