October update: what to check now

Keep secured quota separate from carried estimates. October 9 introduces personal persistent coins and a day-restart recovery based on half the delivered quota. The source does not give an individual refund formula or a new full target table.

October 9 reset chapter progress for everyone as meta-progression reached the main branch. Personal quota coins and permanent upgrades now carry across runs and crews; chapter position, unlocked cards and a reconnect are different kinds of progress.

September 25: earlier corrections

Solo: no quota threshold in the first four levels of Chapter 1.

The September 25 wording refers to the first four levels of Chapter 1, while September 10 described the first four chapters as one level each. The announcements do not reconcile those labels. Read the current chapter/level selector and quota display; this wiki does not invent a replacement chapter table.

Separate secured, carried and estimated loot

Secured value is what the game has accepted. Carried value can still be lost or damaged, while a value estimated from loot you have not collected is less certain again. Putting all three in one total can make an unfinished quota look complete.

Compare the remaining gap with a realistic next trip

Use a short trip for known loot when it closes the gap. For an optional detour, consider the route back, available transport and whether another player is needed to free or revive a carrier. This is a planning heuristic, not a verified optimum or a hidden game rule.

Why an old quota screenshot can mislead

September 10 smoothed progression and September 14 corrected backsliding quotas after the level reorder. September 18 added 70 possible spawn points across 15 levels, not 70 guaranteed items to each run. More spawn positions cannot be counted as money before you find the loot.

Worked arithmetic example — not game balance

The distinctions below separate the official change from the observation you can make in your own run. Practical next steps are guidance, not additional hidden mechanics.

Worked arithmetic example — not game balance
SituationEvidence or exampleHow to use it
Example target 100Example secured value 30The secured gap is 70. These numbers are user-selected examples, not an official level quota.
Example carried value 20Not yet accepted at the boatIf it all arrives intact, the remaining gap would be 50.
Example estimated loot 10Still less certain than carried valueRecovering it as well would reduce the projected gap to 40, not guarantee success.
Two-person example crewEqual division is optionalSplitting the secured gap gives 35 each; the game does not require that division.
